Mahogany Salami:
As the name, Mahogany, suggests this floor is a rich reddish brown with all the earmarks of a Mahogany burl. Traditionally used to produce high-quality furniture and veneers, a Mahogany burl is rarely used in such quantities as to produce a floor. The swirls and “birds eyes” in the pattern are produced by the mix of large pieces of bark mingled with smaller pockets of cork. The darker edges of the bark are softened by the Mahogany stain thus creating subtle movement in the floor. A level of taste and refinement is evident in every aspect of this finish.
