Server Administrator

Overview:

Reporting to Manager of Technology, this individual will be responsible to manage critical server environment, domain and server applications for highly secure business environment.

Primary responsibility is to manage an Active Directory Domain, Intel Servers with Linux and Windows, NAS (e.g. Network Appliance) and SAN environment with Cisco LAN / WAN equipment. Further, this individual will be responsible for managing server applications. The individual would have to work in a team environment with ability to work in a Global support environment.


Responsibilities:

• Administering LDAP and Directory server. This includes setup, configuring, troubleshooting and updating operating system and server applications.
• Administration of Active Message Queue/JMS.
• Managing XML schema as well as developing new schemas; including XMLDB
• Administration of Apache WEB server. This includes setup, configuration, troubleshooting and using SSL.
